Penn Yan Swift CZT ...it is hard not to love these boats, even when they are well beyond repair. This had sat outside uncovered for many years.. ...Stripped out...
...Always start by doing something to hold what is left of the hull together. In this case, a new transom.
...then many, many, way too many new frames, all the time trying to keep the hull shape...this hull was never really financially viable...it cost more to rebuild than we charged for it. ...but we were not going to cut it up. ...yes....epoxy/glass. A perfect skin for this speedster...
...inwales, outwales, seat risers, cleaning the new mahogany deck up... ...staining and varnish...
...new coamings ... ...almost done... |
